San Francisco:
Twitter will sue Elon Musk for enforcing the $44 billion deal to acquire the company, according to the chairman of the board.
Bret Taylor tweeted that “The Twitter Board was committed to closing the transaction according to the terms and price agreed upon with Mr Musk” “We are confident that we will prevail.”
The Twitter Board is determined to close the transaction at the price and terms that Mr. Musk agreed to and will pursue legal action to enforce the merger agreement. We are certain that we will prevail before the Delaware Court of Chancery.
