The Lok Sabha secretariat has released a booklet today ahead of the monsoon session of Parliament, listing words which will now be considered ‘unparliamentary’ in the two Houses. Check out this story to see how many of these words you can spot.

Rahul Gandhi shared this tweet, in which he described the word “unparliamentary”

A nikamma boy lived once upon a time in a small village. His teachers got fed up with him and pulled him up.

Out of sheer childishness he decided to play a joke on his baalbuddhi buddies, who he would boss around.

The following week, he went with his corrupt friends (often referred to as his “chelas”) to pick wood in the mountains. Suddenly, he cried “tiger”.

The boy’s friends ran screaming after him. The village heard the cries and came to help. When they found out it was a bloody prank, they weren’t too pleased. The drama made them feel betrayed and they went about their business.

The next day, the boy was foolish enough to go and cut wood in the same mountain with his donkey. He was unlucky when a tiger appeared.

As he cried “tiger!” and tears began flowing down his cheeks out of fear, he had never imagined that his asatya would get him killed.

The villagers, who earlier felt betrayed by the boy’s misleading act, thought the cries to be a prank and ignored them. The boy was taken to the slaughterhouse by the animals, and nobody came to his aid.
