Fully Jarvis Standing Desk

Amazon Photograph

This is our favorite standing desk. It has a bamboo top that is beautiful and the motor moves smoothly up and down without wobbles. Fully has dozens of customization options so you can truly make the desk feel like it’s yours. There are four height presets, so you can adjust the height to suit the needs of multiple users.

This deal applies to the 55 x 28 inch version with the black frame, mahogany top, and the mahogany bottom. I’ve been using an EN1 for nearly two years, and it’s great. A smooth motor, four height presents and a desktop that looks just as good today as the day it arrived are all part of the EN1. (It’s made of chipboard but doesn’t feel cheap.) It was however a bit difficult to put together.

I tried the Executive version, which was extremely spacious, raises and lowers smoothly thanks to the dual motors. Feels luxurious. It’s really easy to put together, and you get a 10-year warranty (with a three-year warranty on the motor and electrical components).

Herman Miller Embody

Photograph: Embody

This Herman Miller is the top luxury pick in our collection Best Office Chairs guide. It is worth looking if it is available on eBay and Facebook Marketplace at a lower price. But a deal like this doesn’t happen too often, especially since the Embody has exploded in price since the pandemic. It will take some getting used to, but it’ll ruin other chairs for you. There’s excellent back support and nice heat transfer; nearly every part of the chair is adjustable to suit your body. Do I mention the 12-year warranty.

The Fully Alani is stylish and cool thanks to its mesh back. The seat is comfy, with good lumbar support, and it’s quite adjustable. The only reason it’s an honorable mention in our guide is that it’s more expensive than our top pick, the Branch Ergonomic chair. This discount makes it much cheaper and offers a very good deal.

Photograph by Stealtho

You can swap the wheels if your office chair is having trouble moving on the carpet or if you are tired of scratching your hardwood floors. These wheels glide easily across any surface like a knife through butter and are easy to mount on most office chairs.  I especially like that they’re quiet—possibly the best upgrade for the home office.

An all-mesh office chair such as this will not trap heat or keep you warm if you are prone to getting too hot. Although the mesh seat may not be as comfortable as more expensive chairs, particularly if it has skin-to-mesh contact with your skin, this chair is still very affordable. You can adjust the seat with ease and you get two sets of wheels (rollerblade casters and traditional casters).

This is the best office chair for those who want to keep costs down and still have a comfortable seat. It’s reasonably comfy, the mesh backrest won’t trap heat, and the armrests aren’t obstructive.

Photograph by Inncon

I haven’t tried this exact version, but I have had a good experience with another Innocn portable monitor. This is an OLED, which should net you deep blacks and vivid colors, though 1080p isn’t the sharpest on a 15.6-inch screen. This screen is still great to carry around in your bag and use at work or in the cafe. A USB-C port can be found on most laptops. You can simply plug it in to get it working with one cable.

To view the entire discount, click on the coupon button. This Anker webcam has a great video quality. However, it can struggle in low light. The privacy cover has a light bar on the underside that you can flip open. The light bar is not bright enough to make you stand out, but it does get quite bright. This webcam is too large to be attached to a laptop screen. However, it can be sat on top of a standalone monitor.

Yes, the large screen is 1080 pixels in resolution. This can make it appear fuzzy if you close your eyes. But at a reasonable viewing distance, you’ll hardly notice. The colors are great and the bezels are very slim.

If you don’t need such a large screen, this 24-inch 1080-pixel resolution monitor will suffice. There’s VESA compatibility, but the stand is quite adjustable as well (you can tilt it to portrait orientation). Like the BenQ above, it has built-in speakers, but they don’t sound very good (most computer monitor speakers are bad).

Although dual-monitor systems are wonderful, they can be very frustrating. ultrawide monitorsLike this One from AOCWFH setups can be enhanced with the addition of these accessories. This 34-inch curved screen surrounds you in a multitude pixels. This is a great monitor for work or gaming.

This LG gaming monitor in 4K is one of our top picks Guide for UK Gaming MonitorsThis version has the same looks as the higher-resolution counterpart. With this LG 27-inch model, you get a Full HD 240-Hz panel with support for Nvidia G-Sync and AMD FreeSync Premium—to disrupt pesky screen tearing at those higher refresh rates. At this price, it’s an appealing device for enthusiast gamers who don’t want to break the bank.

Click the coupon button to get the entire discount at checkout. This portable monitor’s screen isn’t the clearest, and the build quality is quite plasticky, but it gets decently bright. The best part is that it comes with a built-in stand so you can place it wherever you like without having to purchase a case.

Check out our guide to the Top WebcamsYou can upgrade your laptop’s built in webcam to make video conferencing more enjoyable.

Surface Laptop Studio

Microsoft Photograph

The Surface Laptop Studio is a hybrid device that does everything. It’s a solid laptop, tablet and media center. The Surface Laptop Studio feels sturdy and well-built. The screen is stunning, and it can be ordered with a dedicated GPU for GPU-heavy tasks such as gaming and digital art. Windows 11 is a step behind true excellence, as the built-in software doesn’t make the most of otherwise great hardware.

The Surface Laptop is almost a classic, with its super-soft alcantara keyboard and high-quality everyday driver that can handle most tasks. While it isn’t going to run any advanced games or render 8K video in Adobe Premiere anytime in the near future, the 13.5 inch size makes it a formidable choice. The aluminum chassis is strong and durable with a long battery life. It also has a large screen. This deal includes the Intel Core i7 processor, 16 gigabytes RAM and a 512-gigabyte SSD.

Samsung’s Galaxy Chromebook 2 (WIRED Review: 7/10The ) is lightweight and well-built. It also has an all-day battery. It’s bright and vibrant, with rich colors and deep blacks. There are two USB-C ports. It is a Chromebook though, so it’s best suited to those working almost entirely in the cloud.

Asus Chromebook Flip

Photograph by Asus

This is our Chromebook top pick. Core M3 should be sufficient for most people. It’s ideal for anyone who can use the Chrome browser completely (though Android apps can be downloaded via the Google Play Store). This is a 2-in-1, so you get a 14-inch touchscreen and can put it in “Stand” mode for bingeing Netflix when you’re done working.

We’re serious: Although the Pixelbook Go is getting older, its unique design, lightweight frame and keyboard make it a rare find. It is still in our collection. The Best Chromebooks guide for good reason—as a complete package, it’s a joy to use. The discount here isn’t all that significant, but it’s a welcome reduction on an all-time great laptop. The Pixelbook Go 2 should be out soon.

This Asus machine is highly rated by the WIRED UK team. Guide for UK gamers using laptops. This model is a little more stylish than others and includes Thunderbolt 4 support as well as USB-C charging. It also features a 11th-gen Intel processor and 512-GB SSD. There is also 8 GB RAM.

Many productivity laptops, whether they’re aimed at students or professionals, tout their lightweight nature, but few do it quite like the LG Gram. This laptop weighs just 2.7 lbs (1.2kg) and that’s in spite of a large 16-inch Quad HD+ display. It includes a powerful 11th-generation Intel Core i7 chip and 16 GB of RAM. A 256-GB SSD is also included.

Apple MacBook Pro

Photograph: Apple

With Apple’s M2 chip now announced, the M2 Pro will be on the way out over the next 12 months or so. However, this does not mean the laptop is outdated. It’s still one of the Most powerful MacBooks availableThis is especially important for people who value long battery lives. Although a 512GB SSD might be preferred by serious creators, most people will find it to be adequate. This is not a huge discount, but it’s a decent drop for an Apple product. The 14-inch versionAlso available for sale at $2,249 (251 savings).

This Chromebook is already very expensive, so this is a great deal. It comes with an 11th-gen Core i3 CPU, which should be able handle most tasks. There is also 8 GB RAM and 128 GB storage. The 13.3-inch Full HD touchscreen allows you to turn the laptop into a tablet mode by rotating the screen.

If you’re looking for something with stylish and high-end MacBook vibes that can offer top-tier gaming performance, there’s nothing better than the Razer Blade 14. This pocket rocket squeezes in one of AMD’s best mobile processors alongside a supremely powerful Nvidia RTX 3080 laptop GPU. There’s also a luxurious Quad HD 165-Hz panel, 16 GB of RAM, and a 1-TB SSD. It’s still quite expensive, but it’s not often you get power and beauty in one Windows package.

The ROG Zephyrus gaming laptop is sleek and powerful. One of our favorite things. You get more than enough processing power to run most games at the maximum resolution of 1440p thanks to its NVIDIA GeForceRTX 3080 graphics cards. Asus managed to pack all of that computing power in a small and stylish laptop.

Acer Nitro 5

Photograph by Acer

One of the most popular Nitro 5s has been best cheap gaming laptopsThis combination of a basic, low-frills chassis and a high-refresh rate screen and keyboard can be purchased for many years. Gaming laptops aren’t cheap right now, with some models that use the most basic of mobile graphics cards still topping $800 and above. This may be an older model, but it’s a reliable device that’ll get you some entry-level gaming performance at a newly discounted price.

Alienware produces some of the most unusual-looking gaming tech on the market, but the hardware doesn’t always live up to the image. The M15 R6 breaks the mold with a high 360-Hz refresh speed panel, 32 GB RAM and a 1-TB SATA SSD. It also features an RTX 3070 graphic card and a RTX 3070 graphics chip. The best gaming laptop keyboards match the powerful components.

You need a powerful desktop computer instead? If you can’t be bothered to Make your ownAlienware’s liquid-cooled tower comes with 32 GB RAM and a 1TB SSD. And2-TB HDD and an RTX3080. The price isn’t cheap, but over $400 off for Prime Day makes this powerhouse a more palatable option, especially as it’s the successor to a top gaming desktop gaming PCCheck out our guide.

Our website is available here Guide to Portable External Storage Drives for more details.

Crucial X6

Photograph: Crucial

The X6 is one the fastest drives we’ve tested for data transfer, and it’s super lightweight. It doesn’t have a rugged construction, so you will have to take some care with it. Prime Day reduces all X6 size options, but the large 2-terabyte model offers the most storage and lowest cost.

This four-bay station is for those who love network-attached storage (NAS). The station can perform sequential read/write at 225 MB/sec and has 4GB DDR4 RAM, which can be extended up to 8GB. This is about the lowest price that we have seen for this product.

This SSD was the only SSD that beat the Crucial X6 during our testing SanDisk Extreme Portable. While you will pay more for the same amount storage, you get a more durable IP55-rated case (better protection from dust and water). It remains lightweight for lugging around in your bag and there’s a handy carabiner loop for keeping this SanDisk secure.

If you’re looking for a drive for large backups, look no further than this WD Elements Desktop Hard Drive. Another entry in our portable drive guide. While it may not be as portable as the previous entries, it can still easily be moved around. This storage capacity of 16 TB makes it ideal for backing up your work regularly. WD also offers software that will automatically backup your work each night, if you choose. This is a hard drive rather than an SSD, so you aren’t getting as fast speeds but you get a lotMore storage to store your money.

Photograph by Western Digital

The WD Black 1-TB internal storage is perfect for anyone with a desktop computer that has an M.2 slot. It is super compact, fast, and spacious so it will fit into almost any case.

The Samsung T7 Shield SSD is a sturdy little SSD. It comes with 1 TB storage and is protected by a durable, rugged exterior. This SSD is a great choice for videographers or photographers who need extra storage space while on the road or in remote locations. The T7 has a rubberized exterior that provides cushioning to protect its delicate interior and valuable data.

Earbud and Headphone Deals

We’ve rounded up more Here are the best Prime Day Headphone and Speaker Deals

SteelSeries Arctis Prime Corded Gaming Headset

SteelSeries Photography

Our favorite is The Arctis Prime Wireless gaming headsetPrime Day reduced the price to $50 and it is now below $1008/10, WIRED Recommends). The headset has a rich, expansive sound and comfortable fit. There’s no active noise cancellation, but noise-isolating ear cups do a good job of keeping sound out. It’s great for Zoom calls and after-hours Discord chats.

The release of OnePlus’s top-of-the-range wireless earbuds largely flew under the radar, with its departed founder Carl Pei releasing the Nothing Ear 1 earbudsThey are all available at the same moment. It’s a shame, as they offer a great experience at a low price. The Buds Pro is a top-rated choice. WIRED UK’s wireless earbuds guideThey are affordable and feature high-end features at a mid-range price.

These Bowers & Wilkins got an honorable mention in our The Best Wireless Earbuds GuideBecause they were expensive at $399. The cost of the product has dropped by $150. You get high-quality sound and good looks. AptX adaptive support allows for greater music fidelity. Four hours of battery life when noise canceling is on isn’t great, though.

Bose QuietComfort 45 headphones make a solid choice for those looking for noise-canceling headphones that can be used for work, travel, and the home. These are our new favorite pair of noise canceling headphones. The QuietComfort35 II. Bose says this pair offers a better battery life (around 24 hours) and noise-canceling microphones.

Jabra Elite 7 Active

Photograph: Jabra

Jabra’s Elite 7 Active are rated as WIRED’s The best earbuds for exercising, and it’s easy to see why. The buds offer a snug fit and eight hours of battery life. They also come with a two year warranty. They’re IP57-rated, meaning they’re dustproof and can be submerged in water up to 1 meter. These buds are great for Zoom calls. AndYou can go straight to the gym, even if it is in your living room.

Already one of our favorites is the Arctis 1 by SteelSeries Wireless gaming headsetsIt is available in a variety of colors, but the most attractive feature is that it comes with a price cut. The low price doesn’t mean quality is all that compromised though. It’s sturdy and comfortable, and you get a removable mic, plus broad support across modern consoles and PC.

Wireless earbuds that are truly wireless for as low as $50 You betcha. The Back Bay Tempo 30 (8/10, WIRED Recommends) impressed WIRED senior associate editor Adrienne So. They’re lightweight, built well, waterproof, and fit small ears. The eight-hour power reserve is the cherry on the cake. On the other hand, call quality isn’t great and the Bluetooth connection can be a bit finicky.

Logitech G Pro X

You are looking for the best-rated company? Wireless gaming headset, look no further than the G Pro X from Logitech—WIRED’s top pick in this category. Like many of the best sets of gaming headphones, it manages to keep weight low while supporting high-end features like DTS:X surround-sound support—a massive boon when playing competitive shooters. Logitech G Hub software offers many customization options. We love the soft, matte texture and silver-plated sides.

The Bowers & Wilkins PX7 wireless headphones are on our list of the best wireless headphones and for good reason–they sound great and they’re super comfy. While the active noise cancelling isn’t as powerful as what we have on our favourite Sony and Bose headphones (ANC), the comfortable ergonomic fit, 30-hour battery lifetime and the 30 hour battery life more than compensate.

Logitech G413

Mechanical keyboards don’t tend to come cheap, especially for fully featured models. The Logitech G413 is our favorite keyboard. Top pick for $100It’s a steal at this low price. It’s a great pick if you’re a PC gamer who doesn’t care too much about flashy colors and prefers an understated black design and the idea of customizable RGB lighting. It’s a great entry-level mechanical keyboard.

You prefer a wireless setup Despite being small, the keyboard still has mechanical switches. That means it’s perfect for taking with you on the days you need to head to the office (or coffee shop). It connects via Bluetooth, and it is very tactile, despite its small profile. There’s customizable RGB lighting, and you can recharge it via USB-C.

WIRED has chosen this gaming peripheral as our top choice for creative automation. This keyboard can be used to game, but it also has five macro keys and programmable automation options that make it a great choice for coders and creatives.

The Satechi adapter has a unique design. It can be plugged into your laptop to provide additional ports such as HDMI, USB C, and two USB A. Amazon Photograph

If you’re spending all your time at home, it’s a good idea to make sure the air you’re breathing is always clean. Air purifiers can cause quite the commotion, but this Blueair—one of Our top picks—is whisper quiet on its low setting. Blue 411 Auto can adjust the fan intensity according to the level of pollutant in the air.

Netgear’s Orbi Mesh Wi Fi System allows you to completely surround your home with high-speed Wi Fi. Orbi is a great choice for large homes. Best Mesh Wi–Fi Routers.
