Speaker said that there is no such restriction. Sharad Pawar ordered no protests in Parliament

Jairam Ramesh is the General Secretary of AICC. He shared on Twitter an order from the Secretary General to the Rajya Sabha (PC Mody), stating that Parliament House precincts cannot be used for any dharna.

Reacting the the latest order which stated No dharna is allowed in ParliamentNCP Chief Sharad Pawar claimed that there is no such restriction.

“We have received a statement from Parliament speaker that there is no such restriction. Leaders of all political parties will sit together tomorrow in Delhi and discuss,” Sharad Pawar said in Nagpur.

Jairam Ramesh is the General Secretary of AICC. He shared on Friday a Twitter order from the Secretary General Rajya Sabha PC Mody. He captioned the image as “Vishguru’s latest salvo — D(h)arna Mana Hai!”

The order by PC Mody read, “Members cannot use the precincts of Parliament House for any demonstration, dharna, strike, fast, or for the purpose of performing any religious ceremony.”
