Lefties is a young womenswear brand founded in 2015 by three friends who met at Parsons School of Design. The name, Lefties, pays homage to their shared love of fashion and their zany left-handed ways. The focus is American sportswear for women with a quirky, offbeat aesthetic. Lefties launched at New York Fashion Week 2017 as an official participant and was chosen as one of six emerging brands to showcase at Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Tokyo 2017.

Lefties is a one of a kind New York City-based company that specializes in left-handed clothing. Founded in 2016, this small startup has already made waves at New York Fashion Week with their first collection of clothing shown at NYFW.
The brand was started by two sisters who wanted to change the way left-handed people shopped for clothes. The pair noticed that there were few options for shopping for clothes as a lefty and decided to do something about it themselves.

Lefties has been featured in Vogue, Harper’s Bazaar, and Elle.

Now in its third season, Lefties is shown on the runways of New York Fashion Week alongside some of the world’s most prestigious designers. To date, it has been featured in Vogue, Harper’s Bazaar, Elle and InStyle Magazine among others.

Lefties is a New York based fashion company that has quickly grown to be one of the most talked about and recognized brands in the industry. The brand, which is inspired by both British pop culture and West Indian heritage, is known for its use of bold colors and unique prints. Blending these two elements together, they create an edgy yet chic aesthetic that reflects their diverse background. This week at New York Fashion Week, we had the opportunity to see Lefties apparel on some of our favorite models including Yara Shahidi from Grown-ish, Audrey Gelman from Broad City, and Lauren Hutton as a runway model.
Lefties was founded in 2014 by Roxy Heffron-Martinez and Christiene Martinez, who met at Parsons School of Design.

Lefties’ collections are inspired by the work of contemporary artists.
Lefties, a brand from New York City, recently debuted at New York Fashion Week. The collection was inspired by the work of contemporary artists and creatives. It featured two separate lines for men and women, which were both designed to be versatile.
Lefties’ collections are always inspired by the work of contemporary artists. This season’s show was no different with its focus being on how artists use their mediums to communicate ideas and express emotions in their work. One thing that made this runway show stand out from others is that it was both a menswear and womenswear line. This allowed for more creativity as they could design each outfit with different looks in mind while still maintaining a cohesive aesthetic throughout the collection.
