Hours after being arrested by the Noida Police, Mr Taneja was released on bail.

He was arrested on Sunday for attending a birthday party in Noida Metro. YouTuber Gaurav Taneja (aka Flying Beast) said that the Noida Police had taken him into custody despite his metro coach booking being permitted. He also said that the fans weren’t violent or caused any damage to public property.
Ritu Rathee, husband of Mr Taneja, stated that “a lot of unsavoury images, posts, and memes were circulating on social networking in relation to yesterday’s incident (Saturday) when Gaurav Taneja briefly was detained by the Noida Police.” It was decided that we should correct the record.
According to the statement, Ms Ritu wanted surprise for her husband Mr Taneja by holding his birthday party in four coaches from Sector 51 Metro Station, Noida.
According to the couple, Noida Metro Rail Corporation Ltd. (NMRC), had made it widely known about its plan to hire metro coaches for birthdays and other celebrations.
Mr Taneja stated that the permission was sought and granted to book coaches in Noida Metro through appropriate channels.
The crowd of fans gathered at the Metro station were non-violent and didn’t raise any objectionable slogans. They did not damage any public property. Their example of good behavior speaks volumes about the example Mr Taneja & Ms Rathi set for their followers and fans in their videos.
“Nevertheless, the Noida Police registered a case under Sections 341 and 188 of IPC. He was then briefly held and released after a few hours. We would be seeking an appropriate legal remedy, it was clear,” stated the couple.
“Our fans look up to Gaurav and would gather in large numbers for Gaurav’s birthday, would indicate that they feel we are part of their family.” They said that they are overwhelmed by their love for us and their affection.
On Saturday, Mr Taneja was taken into custody after his supporters gathered at Sector 51 Metro Station of the Aqua Line in Noida to celebrate his birthday.
He was arrested on suspicion of violating Section 144 of Code of Criminal Procedure, (CrPC), in Noida, as well as Section 188 (disobedience of an order duly promulgated by a public servant).
However, bail was granted to him hours after his arrest by the Noida Police.
His wife booked a coach in the metro to celebrate his birthday. According to reports, she invited his followers to the celebrations. Many people then flocked to Sector 51 metro station to meet YouTuber.
Ms Ritu, a woman with over 1.6million followers on Instagram, stated earlier on Saturday that she would meet her fans at 1.30pm for a birthday celebration.
An earlier Instagram post by Ms Ritu stated that “We will be limited by maximum capacity of Metro given NMRC!” Lekin sabse mileage zaroor!.” A few hours later, another Instagram post informed that the celebrations had been cancelled because of “personal issues”.
Gaurav Taneja, currently the most popular YouTuber in India, has millions of subscribers to his three YouTube channels – ‘Flying Beast TV’, ‘Fit Muscle TV” and ‘Rasbhari Ka Papa’. He makes videos about fitness and also shares his daily life vlogs via live streams and live streams.

He graduated in civil engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur. Mr Taneja is currently studying Law at Delhi University’s Faculty of Law.
