In “Deadpool 3,” which is scheduled to hit cinemas on September 6, 2024, Ryan Reynolds and Hugh Jackman will make their Marvel Cinematic Universe debuts.

On social media, Reynolds, who commonly played the “merc with a mouth” in 20th Century Fox movies, announced that he and Jackman will portray Deadpool in the superhero character’s debut Disney movie.

“Hey everyone, we’re extremely sorry to have missed D23, but we’ve been working very hard on the next ‘Deadpool’ movie for a good long time now,” Reynolds said in the video while lounging on his sofa. ” I had to really examine myself on this one. It goes without saying that his MCU debut must be noteworthy. Each Deadpool must be unique and stand out in order for us to remain devoted to the character, unearth new complexity, and create new motives. To get through this great challenge, I had to delve deeply within.

Hey Hugh, would you like to reprise your role as Wolverine? Reynolds asks as Jackman appears in the background of the shot.

In response to Ryan, Jackman says, “Sure, yes.”
According to a previous announcement from Disney, Deadpool would be a part of the MCU, but it was unclear when the character would get a standalone film and how it would fit into the Multiverse as a whole.

When Disney purchased 20th Century Fox in 2019, it also acquired a number of comic book property. The Fantastic Four and the X-Men will both appear in films over the next few years.

Reynolds’ Deadpool films are unusual in Hollywood. Deadpool and Deadpool 2, two R-rated movies, both brought in more than $780 million worldwide. Given that the other MCU films only had PG-13 or lower ratings, this is probably why Disney let “Deadpool 3” to receive a R classification.
