WASHINGTON – President Joe BidenHe stated on Friday that he had directed the half-staff flying of U.S. flags through July 10 in honor Shinzo AbeThe former Japanese prime minister was killed while campaigning to win a parliamentary election.
Abe “was proud to be a servant of the Japanese people, and a faithful friend for the United StatesIn a statement, Biden stated that he believed so. “Even though he was attacked, he continued to work for democracy, which was the purpose of his entire life.”
