Users on Twitter and Reddit released videos of Apple’s new iPhone 14 Pro camera wobbling and buzzing.
Some customers experienced issues while using third-party camera apps such as TikTok, Snapchat, and Instagram.

Apple just announced the high-end iPhone 14 Pro and Pro Max on Friday, and there have been some complaints regarding a strange camera problem.
Some owners of Apple’s new high-end phones, which start at $999 and $1,099, have experienced issues with third-party camera apps including TikTok, Snapchat, and Instagram. Some users have reported that the back camera physically shakes, distorting photographs and making a buzzing or grinding noise.
CNBC was unable to replicate the problem, although Apple has acknowledged its presence. We’re aware of the issue, and a remedy will be available next week, an Apple representative told CNBC.
Users on Reddit and Twitter have been posting videos of the bug in action. Luke Miani, a YouTuber, posted a video on Twitter showing how his iPhone 14 Pro Max camera vibrates when using Snapchat, resulting in a hazy photo. In Miani’s video, you can also hear the phone’s camera generating a loud buzzing sound.
It’s unclear what’s causing the issue, but The Guardian, which was among the first to report on it, speculated that it could be tied to the phone’s optical image stabilisation feature, which is designed to compensate for a shaky camera hand.
