BALI, INDONESIA : US Secretary State Antony BlinkenOn Friday, Japan’s former prime minster was shot to death. Shinzo AbeWashington’s longtime ally,
“This is an extremely, very sad moment.” BlinkenAt a G20 meeting held in Bali, he stated that the United States was deeply saddened and deeply worried.
Blinken said that they don’t know the condition of his body. “Our thoughts and prayers are with him, his family, and the Japanese people.”
Blinken spoke as part of the opening of a meeting that he had with Indonesia’s Foreign Minister Retno MarsudiHe is the Chair of the Group of 20 Talks.
She stated that she wanted to send her deepest condolences and prayers for the “speedy recovery” of the former prime Minister.
