Amber Heard appears to have gone from Twitter only weeks after her ex-boyfriend Elon Musk took over the network.
The official Twitter account of the Aquaman actress, @realamberheard, has been disabled, with the message “This account no longer exists.
Musk, who dated Heard for about a year, was recently appointed CEO of Twitter after purchasing the social media behemoth for $44 billion.
Before completing his acquisition, the billionaire gave a public statement in which he stated that he was purchasing the platform to “benefit mankind” and did not want it to “become a free-for-all hellscape, where anything may be posted with no repercussions
After divorcing from actor Johnny Depp, Heard began dating Musk in 2016 and made their relationship Instagram public in April 2017.
Despite their refusal to reveal their romantic involvement to the media, Heard was spotted with Musk on multiple public trips, including time spent with his children in Australia.
In August 2017, the couple announced their divorce.
Although Amber and I did break up, we are still friends, stay close, and love one another, Musk said at the time on Instagram.
Heard told The Hollywood Reporter in 2018: “Elon and I had a wonderful romance, and we now have a wonderful friendship based on our underlying principles. Intellectual curiosity, ideas and discussion, and a mutual love of science We just connected on a variety of topics that speak to who I am on the inside. I have a lot of admiration for him.
